The Reisterstown Festival, a multi-decade tradition, is a weekend celebration of Reisterstown and thousands of friends and folks from neighboring communities in Baltimore and Carroll Counties to Baltimore (city), Harford, Howard, Frederick, Anne Arundel, DC, Southern PA and beyond!  Like past Reisterstown Festivals, this year’s 34th Annual Festival features a wide mix of the mid-Atlantic region’s best live bands and an always changing array of other performers. From our signature Parade (the kickoff event on Saturday) until the final note is played on the Main Stage at 5pm Sunday, attendees will be able to enjoy a wide variety of talents and sounds, and also be able to stroll over 100 craft and other vendors, and be able to enjoy delicious local foods and beverages for all ages and tastes from various food trucks & vendors (several area restaurants will be onsite for 1 or both days).  With this kind of lineup and features available to you- just go to Hannah More Park (just up and across from Franklin HS) in Reisterstown the weekend after Labor Day: Sept 11 between 11am and 10pm or Sept 12 11:30 to 5pm, you don’t want to miss it!  BE THERE!

The Reisterstown Festival thanks

for sponsoring our Festival Fireworks Show!!

Fireworks

The Reisterstown Festival presents one of the biggest and most spectacular annual fireworks shows in the area each year. This long-running festival tradition is offered on the Festival's Saturday night at approximately 8:45pm while the headlining band on the Main Stage and the adjacent Beer Garden are rockin' in full swing!

In recent years, we've been bringing back some of the festival's early-year glory by presenting highly acclaimed national artists in Reisterstown as our headliners on the festival's Saturday night which makes for an even more special and uniquely Reisterstown fireworks event! Headliner bands put on a full 2 hour concert, and we've been graced with the likes of the James Brown Dance Party, Donna the Buffalo, and the Ron Holloway Band among others in recent years. (Fun Festival Fact: In the 90's, exceptionally generous corporate support allowed us to present legendary headliners like Kenny Chesney, America, and Three Dog Night!)

2019 continued this tradition. EXCEPTIONAL Fireworks accompanied 2019 Festival headliner "A Family Affair- A Tribute to Sly & the Family Stone" the newest tribute project of Chase Family Music (Jazz is Phsh, James Brown Dance Party - the latter being our 2017 Festival Headliner - if you were at either of these magical nights (2017 or 2019), you enjoyed a superb popular national touring band fronted by the highly-entertaining, nationally-acclaimed Chris Rob!)

Festival Headliner Attendee Tip: We suggest going out to the Festival early on Saturday to enjoy all the great food, family fun, exhibits, activities, shopping, games, live music, and entertainment, and then stick around for the final act and spectacle of the day - an outstanding night of "top-shelf" fireworks and music! For even more fun: bring a date, neighbor(s), friend(s) or family (or all of the above)! It's the biggest party of the year in Reisterstown, there's no admission charge, and everyone is welcome, so DON'T MISS IT!!

Family Fun Area

The Family Fun Area is located on the Main Field-just a short walk  just a short walk from and within sight of the Main Vendor area, the Beer Garden/Main Stage, and all the fun on the Lower Main Field.

Military Display

The Military Exhibit is located on the upper baseball field.

Be sure to take advantage of this extraordinary opportunity to see military equipment like you and your family may have never seen!  You can see them, touch them, and ask questions. We continue to hear lots of very positive feedback about this exhibit – an instant hit when it began!  And we’re looking at opportunities to make it even better!

Equipment from the U.S. Army, National Guard as well as state and local law enforcement will be on hand to see, touch, and learn about.  This has become a very popular element of the Reisterstown Festival in the past few years!

Also on display will be military vehicles owned by area residents/collectors.

We thank the National Guard and other contributors for sharing their equipment with us and all of you!

Kenpo Karate Demonstrations by American Kenpo Karate (Saturday & Sunday)

On both days, you can see trained Kenpo karate demonstrations with spectacular skill and power. See self-defense maneuvers performed by American Kenpo Karate Studio members and instructors. The Studio is a multi-year participant and Family Fun Area sponsor, and their events are always fun for all!
