The 37th Annual Reisterstown Festival –  the biggest summer event in our area – held on Sept 7-8, 2024 is on the way!   We bring one of the last sets of summer memories to you, as always, on the weekend after Labor Day Weekend- the unofficial “traditional” end of Summer.  With this timing, we help give area residents an “extra weekend of summertime”, and this is why Reisterstown is “Where Summer Lasts a Week Longer”.  (Now you know the backstory of the Reisterstown Festival’s decades old, part truth/part humor tagline!)

So plan for SATURDAY AND SUNDAY being full of SUMMER FUN starting with our Main Street FESTIVAL PARADE (Saturday at 9am), and then followed by 2 full days of some of the finest LIVE BANDS in the Mid-Atlantic region (seriously!!), FIREWORKS (Sat @ ~8:45pm), lots of fun for kids, teens, and adults(!) with things like laser tag, inflatables, kids train, karaoke, family shows, petting zoo, military/law enforcement vehicle exhibit, pony rides and more, PLUS…. lots of FOOD, A BEER (and more!) GARDEN, a wide variety of more than 100 VENDORS and much more.  Check the pages on this website and our social media for all the details as they are made public.

AND…. Don’t worry about tickets!  Festival Admission is FREE!.  Not bad for a classic ONCE-A-YEAR 2-DAY CELEBRATION!  Just head to the festival grounds at Hannah More Park (or to the Main Street parade route, if that’s your destination).  There’s free parking nearby, but if you’d prefer park onsite, you’ll be given an opportunity to help us fund this and/or the next festival- Parking staff will ask drivers for a small but very important (and optional) donation. Although optional, please consider there are very substantial costs to present these festivals.

Onsite, we and our vendor partners offer a variety of food, beverage, goods & services, raffle tickets, plus things like face painting and special activities – some of which have a modest fee or cost.  Several of these are cash-only so there will be an onsite ATM if you need one (near the band Stage on the lower Main Field). 

PLEASE keep in mind that we are not funded by the state or county; we are program of  The Reisterstown Recreation Council, an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit charity and we raise 100% of our budget thanks to the support of attendees and our vendor & sponsor partners.  SO please plan to attend and support our vendors, raffles, parking, etc. You’ll help sustain this long-running Reisterstown-area all-volunteer, community tradition.  The Festival thanks everyone in advance for your support – our friends and supporters in the Reisterstown area, Baltimore County and City, Carroll County, and beyond!  YOU ultimately make it happen and you’re who we do this for!!
