Jermaine Lewis Super Bowl XXXV TD

Jermaine Lewis

Former Baltimore Raven (Super Bowl XXXV Champion) and Maryland Terrapin

"Celebrity Grand Marshal" of the 2016 Reisterstown Festival Parade!

Jermaine Lewis is a nationally-known former NFL wide receiver and return specialist who began his football career playing little league right here in Maryland (Prince Georges County), played in High School for Eleanor Roosevelt in Greenbelt, Maryland, then went on the set records at the University Of Maryland at College Park. He was drafted by The Baltimore Ravens in 1996, solidifying his Hometown Boy Status, who he played for until 2001. During his 6 years with the Ravens, from 1996 to 2001, Lewis scored 23 touchdowns and made the Pro Bowl in 1998 and 2001 as a returner. He led the NFL in punt return average in 1997 with 15.6 yards-per-return, punt return yards in 2001 with 519, and punt return touchdowns in 1998 and 2000 with two. In the Ravens 34–7 win over the New York Giants in Super Bowl XXXV, he had 152 total offensive yards (111 kickoff return yards, 34 punt return yards, seven receiving yards, one rushing yard), including an 84-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the second half that put the game out of reach, and bringing home the Lombardi trophy for the 1st time in Ravens' history!! Jermaine now is a Wide Receiver coach and Special Teams coach at Saint Frances Academy in Baltimore.

Lewis has (3) sons, Jermaine Jr, Ali, and Wade Lewis, and has been married to wife Imara [E-mar-A] since 1999. Many of you may remember Ali and Wade from the Reisterstown MUSTANGS FOOTBALL!! Jermaine and Family want to send a warm welcome to ALL!!!
